Dangerous Lover by Maggie Shayne

When Selene Brand cast a spell to find the love of her life, she never believed he’d literally fall at her feet. Bleeding and near death, her mysterious stranger, Selene brings him back to life with the help of a healing spell and a call to 911. Unfortunately, Selene learned three things about her new lover that evening. One, he lost his memory and can’t remember who his is. Two, someone wants him dead. And three, the police think she is the killer. Now they’re both on the run, trying to stay alive long enough for mystery man to recover his memory and capture the real killers.

I loved the way that Maggie developed the characters and the way Selene slowly helped her soon-to-be lover to regain his memory. There was also a lot of depth in the story as it had a lot more secondary characters than I had expected to see. A great book by a great author. I’m planning on reading more Maggie Shayne books in the future.

Score: Great
