Fully Engaged by Catherine Mann

Just before the doctors performed a mastectomy, Lieutenant Nola Seabrook had a one night stand with Captain Rick DeMassi. Five years later, Nola seeks out Rick in order to make peace with her past. But before she has a chance, a car bomb exploded, nearly killing the couple. Now Rick wants to find her mysterious stalker, but with his legs still recovering from his last rescue mission, it seems that Nola is spending more time helping him. Can Rick and Nola find and overcome the stalker or will they both fall victim to his next trap?

I enjoy reading romantic suspense and this book is a great example. I loved the way Catherine gave glimpses into the stalkers mind, while keeping his identity hidden. And tossing in Rick’s teenage daughter made the story even more appealing. I rarely read Intimate Moments and I guess that’s a mistake if all of those books are of this caliber. If you like books that keep you turning pages to find out what’s going to happen next, bump this book to the head of your reading list.

Details: Intimate Moments #1440, November 2006

Bottom line: A great book
